boost/config/stdlib/libstdcpp3.hpp: Private or public header file?

Hi, I noticed that I get errors if I try to include boost/config/stdlib/libstdcpp3.hpp as some macros are redefined unconditionally. So it contains for example #ifdef __GLIBCXX__ #define BOOST_STDLIB "GNU libstdc++ version " BOOST_STRINGIZE(__GLIBCXX__) #else #define BOOST_STDLIB "GNU libstdc++ version " BOOST_STRINGIZE(__GLIBCPP__) #endif but boost/config/suffix.hpp defines it as well. This causes trouble if suffix.hpp is included and after it libstdcpp3.hpp. Since both files are not located in detail/ I consider both as public header files and it should be OK to include both (libstdcpp3.hpp will probably only included indirectly). Is it wrong to include boost/config/suffix.hpp? Jens

[Test] Fishy example in the documentation.

Hi. UTF test suite level fixture example at http://www.patmedia.net/~rogeeff/html/utf/user-guide/fixture/test-suite-sha… seems fishy. I do not see the "setup fixture!" and "teardown fixture!" messages anywhere in the documented output. Could be that I am misunderstanding something here and I have not taken the time to run the example but my gut says you have some invalid configuration setting when running the example to collect the output for the documentation and so BOOST_TEST_MESSAGE() macro expands to nothing. *sigh*, as if I hadn’t known it, that program too fails at the very same assertion, „basic_iarchive.cpp“ at line 390. Uncommenting that line, of course, does no good either and leaves me with another segmentation fault: /test_serialize.exe Serialized form: 22 serialization::archive 4 0 1 2 7 derived 1 0 0 1 0 1 10 derived id Segmentation fault What’s wrong with my compiler anyway? Uncommenting that line and recompiling allows me to fully and correctly execute the above code. Using Insight, i found the very line this happens: It’s in „MeterType.inc“ at line 22: „ar & make_nvp(„SupportedProtocols“, supportedProtocols); Since I imagine this to be more or less exactly the same code as I executed before, without the MeterType class, I’m not quite sure why this should fail. Anyway, can anyone lend me a hand here? Firstly, why would the assertion error occur? And why does serializing ProtocolFactoryPtr one time work and another time fail? regex_regress fails under intel-linux-10.0

Hi, This test, regex_regress, is failing under intel-10 with this error message. Oh yeah, right, I forgot: I am using Boost version 1.34.1 and gcc version 3.3.2, which is part of a toolchain for our embedded target system (and thus quite irreplaceable).
