property tree library not in CVS?

Hello, I recall that Property Tree library has been accepted into boost: http://tinyurl.com/h5nlt I can find its documentation on the web and source to download, but I have downloaded current CVS: cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@boost.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/boost login cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@boost.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/boost checkout boost cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@boost.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/boost logout And I cannot find it there. [Serialization] Thread-safety again

Sorry for the double post. I misspelled "serialization" in the subject --- I posted this about a year ago but got no definite answer from Robert. http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lib.boost.devel/132838/focus=132838 I vaguely remember that there were similar discussions about this issue a few month back but do not know if it had reached any conclusion. Now my programs started crashing because of this problem and I am wondering if there is a good solution. Is making the function scope static objects static member with its caveats the best we could do? Thanks, Sean

For this last I don't think there is a good non-intrusive solution. If the default is to throw an exception then it effectively limits the contained type to those enumerated. configure behavior is strange (writing to home dir)

I just grabbed RC_1_34_0. I ran configure and was surprised to see: Generating Boost.Build configuration in /home/nbecker/user-config.jam... That's not really expected behavior, to write to my home dir. Probably not really useful either if I build as a different user. Why don't we just write the the build dir?
