[getting started] outdated info about Boost.Serialization

Hello, the section on autolinking in the getting started page, as it appears in http://boost-consulting.com/boost/more/getting_started.html#auto-link states that Boost.Serialization is not autolinkable nor dynamically linkable. I think this is no longer true starting with Boost 1.33. If so, maybe the release manager will accept that this bit be changed before packing up (I can't do the change myself, though.) Hi, I enclose a basic set of headers [in a single file for simplicity at this stage] so that the set of functions to provide Unicode character data can be discussed. I believe that the core functions calls will probably end up using functions pointers so that different DLLs can use the same functionality and still have the implementation be transparent, and that the function pointers will the retrieved during an initialise call. Does anybody have any strong opinions on this? Once the Unicode.h contents are agreed then I hope - if it is agreed quickly - to implement the necessary data generators to implement it. Just tried looking up that page. And the link on <http://boost-consulting.com/boost/more/background.html> goes to <http://boost-sandbox.sourceforge.net/doc/html/who_s_using_boost_.html>. First the page doesn't exist. [1.33.0] Code is frozen

The source code for Boost 1.33.0 is now frozen. Please do not check in any changes to the Boost source code without my explicit permission. MPL:Possible Placeholder problem with transform & if_ (?)

Either something strange is happening with arg<> and transform or I did not write this code correctly. ( :) ) Any help pointing me to either conclusion appreciated. The next step is to try the same algorithm with transform_view. I really don't want a lazy sequence (how could mother be proud?), but sometimes life is disappointing. Thanks Guys. I offer the following high level design thoughts- you split the lib into a few pieces: 1- Get the data from the data base and stream it into X 2- a stock form of "X" (like the table you described) 3- Helpers for binding if you built the thing that way, then it will be usable by those of us out there who have large bodies of code relying on things like ADO recordsets.
