I downloaded "boost_1_52_0.zip" from here on 11/16 http://www.boost.org/users/history/version_1_52_0.html I used the native unzip built into Windows 8. There were two folders in the root directory, docs and source files. That's odd. I just downloaded and there's a 'bootstrap.sh' and 'bootstrap.bat' in the 'boost_1_52_0' directory.
