The error occurs in every project, also in new ones and console applications. Complete Rebuilding or deleting doesn't change anything...
Too bad :( Sometimes playing with some compiler settings can solve this kind of issues: in particular, if you're in debug mode you can try switching from /ZI (Program Database for Edit and Continue) to a less demanding type of debugging information (/Zi, /Z7 or /Zd): this has worked for me in the past for other libraries. Other than this, your options are getting back to your original situation (with slow compile times) or, if you can afford it, follow Thorsten's wise advice and upgrade to a reasonable compiler like MSVC 7.1.
