I am trying to use a boost library version 1.37.0 (date time specifically) with visual C++ 6.0 , the "Getting started" instructions indicate the libraries need to be recompiled, so far I have not been successful and would like to know if it is possible to use this version with Visaul Studio 6.00. Some libraries may work, but Visual Studio 6 is no longer supported. In Christ, Steven Watanabe

Date time has been around for a while so you could use an earlier version of boost. I had date time 1.33.1 working fine with VC6 and IIRC there was a post a couple of weeks ago about where you could download old boosts ****************************************************************************** "This message and any attachments are solely for the intended recipient and may contain confidential and privileged information. Old releases (back to 1.20.2) can be downloaded from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=7586&package_id=8041

The last version with VS6 projects seem to be 1.32.0 boost.
However, everytime I use bjam it keeps on looking for VS7.1 2003 compiler
which I don't have.

But you can load up the separate DSW workspaces and build from there.
