hi, i'm trying to use the boost::interprocess::message_queue class in an event driven software that use for a great part sockets and libevent for the event loop. normally for monitoring of events in this software we use the file descriptor of the PF_UNIX sockets. now, i'm trying to understand if the message_queue generate signals or other events when useing the blocking methods and if there is something i can feed to the event_new() function of libevent. i didn't find anything that give me this information in the doc: http://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_53_0/doc/html/interprocess/synchronization_m... thankss -- Francesco Berni - kurojishi Registered Linux User #512920 GPG: A1FB5252
