There is a bug in TortoiseSVN 1.6.0 that can cause a log request to loop endlessly under certain conditions. When this happens an endless stream of requests is sent to the server. This may be why the svn.boost.org server is getting hammered, and response time is slow. It affects trac too, as it runs on the same server. The problem is fixed in release 1.6.1, so please upgrade to that release if you are currently running TortoiseSVN 1.6.0. Thanks, --Beman
