Question about boost.log (from Andrey Semashev )
Does anyone know why the boost.log never made it into the library? Thanks, Steve

Short, unhelpful answer: Yes. Longer, probably more helpful answer: The review result is here: http://lists.boost.org/boost-announce/2010/03/0256.php There were several issues marked *critical* in the review that needed to be satisfied before the library was added to boost. Those have not been satisfied (yet). However, the library is being actively developed and maintained, and is available at http://sourceforge.net/projects/boost-log/ -- Marshall Marshall Clow Idio Software mailto:mclow.lists@gmail.com A.D. 1517: Martin Luther nails his 95 Theses to the church door and is promptly moderated down to (-1, Flamebait). -- Yu Suzuki
Also, if my memory is correct, there was a need to wait for the new version of boost Phoenix (or Spirit?) that have been released not so long ago so work have been done now to switch to it. So from what I understand, it's coming and it's only a matter of how fast Andrey can implement, knowing that it's not the best time to work on it currently. Joël Lamotte
