Hi I'm trying to build boost on Mac OS X 10.4.7. I had some Python issues and jam complained about Boost.Python so I downloaded and installed Python 2.4. Still though, that didn't fix it. I tried a half-hearted attempt at creating some symbolic links but decided there must be a "right" way to install boost on the latest mac OS X and was wondering if anyone here can point me toward a writeup of the process. Thanks, Chris

I had problems with Boost Jam as well. The easiest alternative I have
found is to install DarwinPorts (http://darwinports.opendarwin.org/),
then 'sudo port install boost'.
Cheers,
Richard
