I've found this wonderfull branch of Boost (Boost :: process) : http://www.netbsd.org/~jmmv/process/index.html But I don't find it in 1.35 or in 1.36, what is it begun ??? Has it be renamed ? Has it be removed ? Why ? When will it be integrated ? Thanks

This library has never been accepted into Boost. In Christ, Steven Watanabe

There has been some progress lately - see http://www.highscore.de/boost/process/ for example. Boris

thank you for this lib
Why not integrating it now ?
Some other libs (like your example, or this one :
http://docs.wxwidgets.org/trunk/group__group__funcmacro__procctrl.html ) can
do it multi platform, so why not Boost ?

I'm not sure to which library you are referring. If it's http://www.highscore.de/boost/process/ then there is some progress (mainly making sure that the existing code works fine on different platforms). Besides stabilizing the code asynchronous I/O has to be better supported (which means integrating Boost.Process and Boost.Asio somehow). Last but not least as http://www.highscore.de/boost/process/ is not the only draft of Boost.Process some more integrating will be probably required. Boris
