You may need to link to boost_date_time and boost_system. The easiest way to tell is to try to link and look at the namespaces of any undefined symbols.
// // timer.cpp // ~~~~~~~~~ // // Copyright (c) 2003-2008 Christopher M. Kohlhoff (chris at kohlhoff dot com) // // Distributed under the Boost Software License, Version 1.0. (See accompanying // file LICENSE_1_0.txt or copy at http://www.boost.org/LICENSE_1_0.txt) //
#include <iostream> #include
#include int main() { boost::asio::io_service io;
boost::asio::deadline_timer t(io, boost::posix_time::seconds(5)); t.wait();
std::cout << "Hello, world!\n";
return 0; }
