Known limitations of Boost threads across O/S platforms???
Are there any known limitations to Boost threads across Win, Solaris, and Linux? I'm in a planning cycle, and expect to be utilizing Boost as much as possible. Thanks, - Louis
While certainly not comprehensive: I'm running the same multi-threaded codebase under Windows and Linux without problem. Louis Caston wrote:

Thanks very much for the reply. We're extending a Sybase system to use CTLIB, C++ and Java/JNI on Solaris, Linux, and Windows. To date, I've used the boost shared_ptr and datetime routines, and I've been very happy with them. Nice to know I can continue in confidence. -----Original Message----- From: news [mailto:news@main.gmane.org]On Behalf Of Mark Sizer Sent: Thursday, July 17, 2003 12:24 PM To: boost-users@yahoogroups.com Subject: [Boost-Users] Re: Known limitations of Boost threads across O/S platforms???
