The status page for boost::statechart, http://www.boost.org/development/tests/release-1_38_0/user/statechart_releas..., appears not to be working. It gives an error message, "Error extracting file: The specified zipfiles were not found." Is the status information available elsewhere?
Hi Bill
The status page for boost::statechart, http://www.boost.org/development/tests/release-1_38_0/user/statechart_releas..., appears not to be working. It gives an error message, "Error extracting file: The specified zipfiles were not found."
Thanks for reporting this. The problem lies in the fact that the test results of the final cycle before release have not been stored ever since 1.36, or at least they aren't available at a location that would conform to the practice established before 1.36. I've reported this here: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lib.boost.testing/6103

I don't think so, unfortunately. However, I'll see what I can do for the imminent 1.39 release. Regards, -- Andreas Huber When replying by private email, please remove the words spam and trap from the address shown in the header.

My associated request ... http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lib.boost.devel/189010 ... has not been answered (yet) and ... http://www.boost.org/development/testing.html ... now only shows the results for the trunk & release branch (before 1.39 it used to have separate entries for each release). I guess this means that per-release results will not be available anytime soon, sorry. So, the best indication of whether Boost.Statechart will work with your compiler can be found here: http://www.boost.org/development/tests/release/developer/statechart.html Right now this is accurate for the 1.39 release but it will of course become "outdated" the moment I merge new stuff from the trunk to the release branch. You might get a better response on the testing list.

Don't read too much into that. I commented out the rows (you can still see them if you view source) since there hadn't been any results generated for a release for a while. It doesn't indicate an 'official' position. I think the main problem is that nobody is taking charge of this. If anyone is willing to, Rene might be the person to ask. Daniel

Both of my articles were crossposted to the testing list, but I guess I should try again with a better subject.

Ok, thanks. I'll try to get in touch with Rene then. Regards, -- Andreas Huber When replying by private email, please remove the words spam and trap from the address shown in the header.
