Hello. Is mpfi_sqr (square) function supported by Boost.Multiprecision? This function may give better results (interval with less length) than simple multiplication. Kind regards, Petr.

Good point, no it's not currently, but I've just updated SVN.Trunk to make use of it (and the same with mpfr). John.
