I'm confused about the current status of the svn -> git transition,if indeed any such transition is occuring. Boost main page still seems refer to the old SVN repository, but vault references are to a git-hub server. Can someone supply a few sentences of explanation. Thx. - Rob.

SVN is still the only repository recognized by Boost. The are various Git repositories, some simple mirrors, some that also change the library layout and build system. All of them unofficial for now.

Ok, Thx. Do you know if the ultimate migration to Git is still on? I had thought it was supposed to be a done deal by the last BoostCon, but I've not really been watching! - R.

Some of us are still working on it. There's been no official decision yet. -- Dave Abrahams BoostPro Computing http://www.boostpro.com
