Can someone confirm some terminology for me? C++98 - the current C++ standard pre tr1? C++02 - the current C++ standard post tr1? or the original target date for what has become c++0x? C++0x - the next eagerly awaited standard. Is that right? Thx - Rob.

I think you meant C++03 - it's the current C++ standard, ISO/IEC norm 14882:2003 . It incorporates TC1 (Technical Corrigendum 1) i.e. set of technical corrections, into what was known as C++98. B.

I think it should be C++03, which was a minor update to the '98 standard.
C++0x - the next eagerly awaited standard.
Is that right?

Thanks gents - I'd not encountered "C++02" either. I saw it mentioned in the first paragraph of the introduction of http://anubis.dkuug.dk/jtc1/sc22/wg21/docs/papers/2003/n1454.html but maybe that was just a typo. - Rob.
