It always helps to identify the compiler and it's version number, the operating system, and to indicate the version of the Boost code (or CVS, if that was the source.)

The compiler is: g++ (GCC) 3.3.3 20040412 (Red Hat Linux 3.3.3-7)

The OS is: Linux version 2.6.7-1.494.2.2 (Fedora Core release 2 (Tettnang))

The boost code (I think) is: boost_1_31_0 (I will update this one once I have the reply from system administrator)
