Right. We had three "release candidates" beta1/rc1, rc2, and rc3. This is the actual beta release - it is the same as RC3.

Personally, I think it's too much. There's "alpha", there's "beta", then there's "release candidate" approaching an actual firm release. At least that's my take on industry conventions.
