Hi All I'm just about to start trying to use Boost.Python for the first time and noticed the following note in the docs: Note for Python 2.3 users This is a bugfix release only, and is not compatible with Python 2.3. Boost 1.31.0, which will be compatible with Python 2.3, is due out shortly. I assume this means I need to use Python 2.2.3 or lower, right? Regards Paul Please note the change of email address! Hi All
I'm just about to start trying to use Boost.Python for the first time and noticed the following note in the docs:
Note for Python 2.3 users
This is a bugfix release only, and is not compatible with Python 2.3. Boost 1.31.0, which will be compatible with Python 2.3, is due out shortly.
I assume this means I need to use Python 2.2.3 or lower, right?
I recommend posting Boost.Python questions to the C++-sig: http://www.boost.org/more/mailing_lists.htm#cplussig and I also recommend using the CVS version of Boost.Python, which is Python-2.3 compatible. -- Dave Abrahams Boost Consulting www.boost-consulting.com
