I have two related questions. First, how can my source file assert that the correct version of Boost was found for an #include? Second, I need to build Microsoft debug DLLs to match incompatible compilation options, namely defines _HAS_ITERATOR_DEBUGGING=0;_BIND_TO_CURRENT_VCLIBS_VERSION=1. How should I decorate the resulting names to reflect this option? That is, besides ...-mt-dg...? I think this is referred to as the "ABI tag". --John TradeStation Group, Inc. is a publicly-traded holding company (NASDAQ GS: TRAD) of three operating subsidiaries, TradeStation Securities, Inc. Can you check BOOST_VERSION in boost/version.hpp?

Does the --buildid option help? In Christ, Steven Watanabe

Sounds right. Knowing what to look for, I found the docs for "Boost Configuration Reference".
Does the --buildid option help?
What is that? I don't see it mentioned at http://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_43_0/more/getting_started/windows.htm. The Search box on the web site gives hits on every page but it doesn't show up in the text -- it must be used within the HTML for its own purposes. --John TradeStation Group, Inc. is a publicly-traded holding company (NASDAQ GS: TRAD) of three operating subsidiaries, TradeStation Securities, Inc.
