When people reply without a blank line separating new from quoted text: thesis, or even:
quote somebody saying something about something they said
Your reply to the quoted text It gets really hard (for me, at least) to distinguish what you wrote from what the other person wrote. I know this seems nitpicky, but I ask that anyone who can tolerate it leave a blank line around replies, as follows:
quote somebody saying something about something they said
Your reply to the original poster's thesis, or even:
quote somebody saying something about something they said
