Sure: See spirit2, see Phoenix, see Proto. These are early adopters of fusion. Well, these are probably not what you mean by "traditional", but we couldn't have written these libraries without fusion (and MPL). Dave (Abrahams) has a very nice motivating example, I recall now. In one of his slides, he showed the zip iterator (an iterator adapter) implemented with and without fusion. The fusion version collapsed the code to a fraction of the size without it.
