Hi all has anyone been able to build boost 1.53 on Ubuntu without errors?
Nosir, not yet. I failed to build boost using the "default" build instructions, pretty much a naked b2, I believe with multi-threaded static link. I am running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (for now), was trying to build with GCC 4.4.3. I've since upgraded to GCC 4.7.2 and may try with that. Any other insights would be great.
