I have just recently used std::map with managed objects: typedef std::map< CString, gcroot > MathDataSet; typedef std::map< CString, gcroot >::iterator ItMathDataSet; I don't see a good reason you can't use boost likewise. And as gcroot is just a handle wrapper, it should be economical. Best, Dan.
