I finally found the reason: google chrome 32bit on winxp64 downloads the archive wrong for some reason. v6.0.472 It could be: 1. some user setting is wrong. 2. that version has a bug 3. 32bit chrome on win64 has problems 4. all chrome versions have a problem with boost or sourceforge:-) I've tried with IE32bit and it worked Sorry about the hassle, I'll pursue with google,
