I have VS2008 professional on Windows XP professional with boost 1.39.0 installed, really wanted to replace it with 1.42.0. My hard disk now has about 16 GB left. What should I do with the /boost directory of about 1.8GB when boost 1.39.0 was built, simply deleting it?
Assuming that you don't need it any more, you can just delete it. You can also delete the bin.v2 directory.
