Thanks -- that fixes the first error. Now I'm left with the second, xsl:element : no namespace bound to prefix xi.
I found some time to dig into this a little deeper. Turns out its due to these not being loaded

and thats because <xi:include href="hash.xml"/> in src/boost.xml causes xsltproc to search for "./src/hash.xml", and not "./hash.xml", in the directories specified by --path on the command line. Including "../hash.xml" fixes it.
