It is an embedded MOXA computer. Does this
mean that shared memory objects are not fully implemented on this operating
system? On some of this device’s predecessors, I used standard Unix
semaphores for this task, before I switched to the new boost version when the
interprocess library was introduced in version 1.39.0. Would returning to this
manual solution work or do semaphores not function at all on this machine?
