It looks like you must define BOOST_NO_DEPENDENT_TYPES_IN_TEMPLATE_VALUE_PARAMETERS. If I define that, it compiles.
Thanks I've patched the crc lib in the cvs, I haven't changed the value of BOOST_NO_DEPENDENT_TYPES_IN_TEMPLATE_VALUE_PARAMETERS for vc7 as the problem is actually subtly different from the one detected by that macro (and other boost libs don't need that setting).
