      You might want to avoid replying to emails when you really want to start a 
new thread. Many of us access this list via gmane and a newsgroup reader. 
Your post gets buried under an entirely unrelated thread topic so you might 
not get the visibility you desire, and it dirupts that unrelated thread for 
those following it.
