Reading this over again I don't think I said this very well. What I mean is: It's good if the programming *language* makes things somewhat easy for beginners, or else we'll never get beginners. You can't be a master without at some point being a beginner. However, that doesn't mean that any particular library needs to be coded in such a way as to be understandable by beginners.
