I can reproduce that on cygwin but not on other gcc platforms. I'm convinced it's a bug in gcc, submitted with description and test case here: http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=23271. However the good news is that the problem does not occur in Boost-1.33, so I suggest you either upgrade, or else drop the -pedanic option (in which case Boost-1.32 compiles without even a warning).
