In project properties go to Configuration Properties, c/C++, general and include the path to the boost header files (something like d:\Projects\boost\boost_1_34_1). In the same screen go to Linker, input and include the path to the libraries you want to use (something like D:\projects\boost\boost_1_34_1\lib\libboost_thread-vc80-mt-gd-1_34_1.lib ). If you're not sure which libraries to include just build the project and the errors will tell you what VS can't find, Hth, Patrick
Hi: I havenow managed to build boost. How do I set up visual studio 2005 (8). I noticed in examples ther is a <boost> directive, how do I set up this directory. With the static directory of each library what is the runtime-link-static? I am building multi-threaded applications any help apreciated. Sean.
