adge properties getting corrupted when removing edge

Hello I have encountered the following problem and so far I have not been able to find a workaround. I start with a bidirectional graph with 4 nodes A, B, C and D. There is a integer edge property installed and I have following edges and their respective properties: E1 = C->B; prop[E1] = 0 E2 = D->B; prop[E2] = 1 E3 = B->A; prop[E3] = 0 I am removing edge E3 and immediately after remove_edge the property for E1 is 1 which is wrong. boost::function Usage Question

Consider the following code: class Publisher { typedef boost::function<void> Function; public: void SetChecker(const Function& Callback){ } }; class Manager { public: Manager(); private: void Check() {} }; Manager::Manager() { Publisher d; d.SetChecker(std::mem_fun(&Manager::Check)); } How can I get this to work? I always get an error when compiling the last line stating "..boost\function\function_template.hpp(127) : error C2660: '()' : Funktion akzeptiert keine 0 Parameter" Ah, the compiler is VisC++ 6. How to add user's rule to ALL?

Hello folks! I defined my own rule to provide resource compilation. I put invocation of the rule in my Jambase file. But when I run bjam (not jam!) it skipped my rule. I believe that happens because my rule doesn't belong to 'all' list :"exe, lib ..." Should I try to define my rule in the style of EXE or there is more easy way to provide user''s rule invocation in BJAM? Problem with using special function

Hi, I am new to boost libraries. I just downloaded the whole BOOST_1_28_0 and I added the directory to compiler's list of #include<...> search paths but I still get error when I try to use the atanh() function. I am using Visual C++ v6.0 The error message reads d:\boost_1_28_0\atanh.hpp(77) : error C2989: 'atanh_helper1_t<T,0>' : template class has already been defined as a non-template class Could someone please help me out. Changes I made to get boost::pool code to compile/execute under CW 8.1

Here is what I did to get boost::pool to compile/execute on CW 8.1: test_pool_alloc.cpp ============= 1) To execute w/o memory access violations, define BOOST_NO_PROPER_STL_DEALLOCATE sys_allocator.hpp =========== 1) To compile, change signature of allocate in both allocators from: static pointer allocate(const size_type n, const pointer = 0) to: static pointer allocate(const size_type n, const void* = 0) 2) To get time_pool_alloc.cpp to execute w/o memory access violations, change definition of new_delete_allocator from: { delete [] p; } to: { delete [] (char*)p; } Ray Gallimore

Why does BGL use friend instead of member functions?

Hi, It appears, to me, that the boost graph classes use friend functions and apposed to member functions. What are the reasons for this design decision (I like it) and why is the graph passed as the last argument? Thanks, Louis. PS. Great graph - great book.

Bad rules in bjam

Hi folks! I found out that two major rules (from "allyourbase.jam") differ from classic Jam and can't work with full power (with gcc on solaris8-x86 at least). * Thus 'EXE' rule doesn't allow you linking with 3-rd party library (flag LINKFLAGS is ignored). * 'Main' rule skips compilation phase, though it's declared in the same allyourbase.jam: # Main image : source ; link executable from compiled sources Anyone experienced this? P.S. I have a vector of class Landmark { public: std::string const& getName() const; ... }; I want to do a find_if for a name that I have. something like std::find_if(begin, end, boost::bind(std::equal<std::string>(???, name_to_find))); What do I put for the ??? ?
