boost::bind with const parameter

Hi group! I try to call in a for_each a member function that take a parameter by value AND const. I know we do not need to do things like that, but I am using code from an other team and I don't want to change it if I don't need. [Test] Is It Possible to Put Test Cases in DLL?

Dear all, I remember seeing similar topic some time earlier, but I failed to find the information I need. So if this question has been answer before, please kindly point me to the correct resource. TIA! Basically, I goal is to build a bunch of unit test cases into a few DLLs, and be able to run them by loading the DLLs into my test executable (either automatic or using LoadLibrary is fine with me). I'm using the auto registration facility now to create and register the test suites and cases. And I'm running on MSVC 7.1 on Windows XP SP2 now. Any pointer will be greatly appreciated. I think there's probably a better way: put all the concepts in a nested namespace of boost and then add a using-directive to expose them in boost... There is now a template called "Graph" in namespace boost, and we find that as well as your "Graph" typedef. [Graph] BGL python bindings documentation

Hi, Can anyone point me in the direction of some documentation of the python bindings for the BGL? I know this is no longer part of boost. Should I be asking some other list? The documentation at http://www.osl.iu.edu/~dgregor/bgl-python/#example and http://www.osl.iu.edu/~dgregor/bgl-python/reference/boost.graph.html is helpful but far from complete. What happened to the more user friendly documentation that came with boost_1_33_1? How stable is the interface? Is the library actively maintained? After all that I'd like to say I have found the bindings very useful just a little hard to work with at first. Thanks, John.

I switched from 1.33.1 to CVS, and after that, my test programm did not work any longer ... [Parameter] Positional arg after named arg

Hi, With the parameter library is there any way to stop misuse as in; func(/*a = */1,b = 2); Fine, a is positional, b is named. func(a = 1,2); Happily compiles but probably isn't what was intended, the default value is used for the second parameter. Should positional arguments be allowed to occur after named arguments? Perusing the Parameter library docs I can't see any mention as to what should happen here. Regards, Richard. Hi, I would like to know the name of the option that causes the command line parsing to fail. I don't like the idea of having to parse the what() string to extract the option name. I think the exception classes should be extended with functions to get this information. This is useful if you want to control the appearance of the error messages. E.g. use another language than English. [serialization] Overriding serialization of class pointer types

Hi all, I'm currently working on a game engine, and hoping to use boost serialization for the world saving code. It's nearly perfect except for one snag - serializing pointers to sprite file classes. Ideally I'd like to simply serialize the name of the sprite file, and on deserialization find the file in the sprite cache 'gallery', but this requires using split serialization in all the classes that reference sprites. Is there a way to simply override the serialization of /pointers/ to classes?
