Hi everybody, I came cross the error C2064 "term does not evaluate to a function taking 0 arguments" when I was compiling "boost_1_33_1\boost\numeric\ublas\vector.hpp". The error is referred to the sentence BOOST_UBLAS_INLINE const_iterator (const iterator &it): container_const_reference<self_type> (it ()), it_ (it.it_) {} at line 293. Hi all, I try to port my application to windows and use mingw 3.4.2 (32 bit machine). Hi all, I'm just starting to try out Boost.Date_time library. As a newbie, I want to know if there is any good tutorial or "get started" guide somewhere that I can refer to. I've checked out the Data_time library documentation, as well as done some search on Google. Yet I cannot find useful information for an absolute beginner. Reading "C++ Template Metaprogramming" book: "Though not extensible, range_c supports pop_front and pop_back, because contracting a range is easy" But following code doesn't work (at least using MSVC 8.0): #include <boost/mpl/range_c.hpp> #include <boost/mpl/pop_back.hpp> using namespace boost::mpl; typedef range_c<int, 0, 1> r; typedef pop_back<r>::type p; Can anybody explain? bool_testable / safe bool idiom

What ever happened to bool_testable or some other answer to the safe bool idiom? I followed archived emails for a while, but thought it best to just bring up anew. Is a general solution not possible? How about a couple of solutions, where you pick the right one for your case? Or a solution with variations that you pick (policy based)? Anything? Thanks, Tony
