The master branch is open for merging all stable changes from develop, including bug fixes and major upgrades to existing libraries. Breaking changes should be coordinated via the mailing list with the developers of the other libraries affected. New libraries may be added, but require permission of a release manager. In other words, merging does not require permission from a release manager, except for new libraries. Boost 1.70 unordered_set problem with Sun Solaris Studio 12.3

Hi again, this time I've a problem to compile a simple program using an unordered_set. The program is the following: --- //main.cpp #include <boost/config.hpp> #include <boost/unordered_set.hpp> #include <boost/functional/hash.hpp> int main() { boost::unordered::unordered_set<std::string> set; return 0; } --- I compile it with the command below: CC main.cpp -o test -library=stlport4 -I/.../boost_1_70_0/ and I got the error: ir_build_type(): unexpected type Please help me!! Boost 1.70 - Test library error on Sun Solaris Studio 12.3

Hi, I'm triying to compile the boost 1.70 on Sun solaris using the version 12.3, but I got an annoying error on the test library: "./boost/test/unit_test_log_formatter.hpp", line 39: Error: Identifier expected instead of "__global". For what I can understand it seems that compiler doesn't recognize the keyword __global. Below, there's the command line that I've used: ./b2 toolset=sun variant=debug address-model=64 threading=multi link=shared runtime-link=shared --with-test Do you have any suggestions? Thanks, Mirko

The Boost formal review of Krystian Stasiowski and Vinnie Falco's FixedString library starts today November 25 and extends up to December 4. Description FixedString provides a dynamically resizable string of characters with compile-time fixed capacity and contiguous embedded storage in which the characters are placed within the string object itself. Its API closely resembles that of std::string. Building with CMake?

I see that individual repositories like boostorg/filesystem on Github have a CMakeLists.txt. But the boostorg/boost super repo doesn't have a root CMakeLists.txt. Either this doesn't follow standard CMake structure or there's no way to build with CMake globally instead of bjam. How can I build the boost libraries with CMake?
