File-system persistence for boost shared memory files

Hello, The boost documentation suggests that shared memory interprocess mechanism can have file-system or kernel persistence. When I create shared memory files on an Ubuntu Linux host, they are created at /var/run/shm. But on a system reboot, the shared memory files go away, which means they are using kernel persistence. Hi, Can I get the position from the iterator that I get from split_iterator? The position I am seeking to determine is the "zero-based number of token separated by the separator". That is, in "one;two;three;four;five;six;seven;eight", the position of three is 2 and eight is 7. Can anyone help me on this? udp with virtual network cards

Dear All, I implemented an UDP Multicast socket connection with boost. It works fine if I test server and client on the same PC (windows Xp or 7) but If server and client are (normally) on different PCs and at least on the client side there are virtual network cards active, the client does not receve udp data. It seems the udp connection uses one of the virtual cards and in that case it doesn't work. In fact If I deactivate all virtual cards then it starts working. Can you explain me … [View More]

Hi, I would like to iterate over a sequence and preserve the reference/const/non-const of the elements.
