[Interprocess] Mapped file destructor

Hello, In my code I open a mapped file (previously created) and I construct an object inside, this object is valid and I can use it. But after the mapped_file has been destroyed my object is not valid anymore. It happens just after the call to the destructor of the mapped file. How can I tell to the Mapped File to do not flush its content when it is destructed? Best regards. Thomas

Hi! I'm using the Boost 1.38.0 Interprocess Library and shared memory object. My code eliminates with a remove a shared memory object associated with a label, the returned value is true so the operation is done correctly; just after that I create a shared memory with the same label and the program throws an error saying "File exists", just as I didn't remove it with the previous instruction. I've seen that the made a bug fix in boost 1.39.0 Interprocess Library on the remove; that fixing reagard this problem or is something different? Do you have an idea of what can be the problem? [Program-Options] 2 issues

Hello, I am using Ubuntu 8.10 with g++ 4.3.2 and boost 1.37.0 I have two issues I have run into with program_options. 1. Minor. When using program options to read option into a short or unsigned short g++ gives me a warning of: /opt/boost/1.37.0/include/boost-1_37/boost/any.hpp: In member function ‘void boost::program_options::typed_value<T, charT>::notify(const boost::any&) const [with T = short unsigned int, charT = char]’ 2. I have a need to pass configuration into a plugin for another package. When using multiple plugins that are compiled with the program_options I run into a problem that the second plugin loaded is unable to use program_options to parse the configuration file and dies with an error of: boost::bad_any_cast: failed conversion using boost::any_cast Any assistance anyone can provide on these 2 matters? -- Regards, Mikhail Veygman

I am using Visual Studio 2008 SP1 with the Intel 11.0 compiler and boost 1.38. I am compiling with the pre-processor directive: BOOST_HAS_TR1 (though I am not sure this does what I thought it did does since I see boost::tuples is used below). When I use the native tr1 function, I am unable to put a boost::lambda into it (which worked fine with boost::function), I get an errors. Any ideas?
