I found the define BOOST_ALL_DYN_LINK in the config/auto-link headers which causes BOOST_FILESYSTEM_DECL to defined as __declspec(dllimport) and this solved the problem. However, I am not sure why it was necessary to set this define. The headers know that I am using VS2005 (they add vc80 to the library name) and that I am using dynamic libraries (doesn't insert the s in the name). Am I correct in thinking that multi_array has a size() method which reports the first subscript, whereas views of multi_array do not support tht size() method? - Rob.

Can't get the bcp tool to work

I'd like to copy all the files in the filesystem library using bcp to a folder. I'm using the command: ./bcp filesystem [destination path] However, the output I get is "no errors detected" and nothing has been copied to the destination. Am I doing something wrong? I'm on Mac OS X intel, but this exact same problem occurs on my Windows machine as well.

Looks like the issue was my fault. I used darwinports to install boost 1.35, but it didn't come with bcp so I built that separately from a 1.36 package I downloaded. I just downloaded boostpro on my Windows box and bcp works great now, so I'll just copy the resulting files onto my mac. Thank you all very much for the help. [fusion] [doc] documentation comment

These lines in the Organization | Layers section of the fusion documentation baffle me: 'Each module has its own header file placed in the same directory with the actual module-directory. For example, there exists "boost/fusion/support.hpp" in the same directory as "boost/fusion/support".' I can see a "boost/fusion/support.hpp" file as well as a "boost/fusion/support" subdirectory. If I look at "boost/fusion/support.hpp" it includes a number of header files in the "boost/fusion/support" subdirectory. But what the two lines quoted in the documentation above are saying eludes me. If it is saying what I discovered, it is not explaining things correctly.
